About The Position

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects within the Corporate Function division. This role is critical to ensuring projects align with strategic organizational goals and are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with corporate standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development.
  • Proven success delivering IT solutions in a corporate environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional programs.
  • Knowledge of software development practices, tools, and quality processes.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Financial Services, Finance, and Financial Planning & Analytics technologies.
  • Onsite availability at our Illinois location (this is not a remote role).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing projects with budgets up to $5MM.
  • Expertise in change management and vendor management.
  • Advanced understanding of financial systems and analytics tools.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and IT leaders to review business cases, prioritize initiatives, and create strategic roadmaps.
  • Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Establish frameworks to track milestones, communicate progress, and proactively address risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies for IT applications.
  • Manage external vendors and delivery partners to meet project objectives.
  • Monitor project financials and performance metrics against original plans.
  • Provide timely and accurate project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate change management practices, including communication and training alignment.
  • Capture lessons learned and secure final project approvals.
