Join our Information Technology team as a Senior Project Manager to provide strategic direction, coordination and tracking of organization priority projects, large-scale projects as it relates to IT Operations, Information Security (Cyber) and Technical Support. The Senior PM will also lead and support overall efforts to streamline and refine IT best practices and processes. Who We Are The Information Technology (IT) department supports and improves a broad portfolio of technologies to support our staff. IT ensures that all ASPCA staff, partners, and communities have the systems needed to work effectively and efficiently to improve animal welfare. The sub-teams within IT include Product, Data and Reporting Solutions, Operations and Information Security, Technical Support, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Operations. What You’ll Do The Senior IT Project Manager (PM), Information Technology, reports directly to the Director, IT Business Operations. The Senior PM is an integral role on the IT team, making sure that the planning and execution of our initiatives accurately captures our organizational values and involves/invests key stakeholders in the success of those initiatives. The IT team regularly partners with teams across the organization to support the achievement of team-specific and organization-wide goals; similarly, the Senior PM will regularly listen to and learn from teams’ respective operations and goals to develop robust project plans that are geared toward success for IT projects. The Senior PM provides strategic direction, coordination and tracking of organization priority projects, large-scale projects. The Senior PM will also lead and support overall efforts to streamline and refine IT best practices and processes. The Senior PM will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to create and support simple, scalable, compliant, and more automated ASPCA mission-critical information and systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a self-starter and team player, and have a desire to support the ASPCA in achieving our mission of ending cruelty to animals. In this position, you will never be bored! The ASPCA supports a broad portfolio of technologies to support a highly mobile and diverse staff. Maintaining a presence in multiple geographic locations, the team provides support (hands-on and remote) to over a dozen facilities and field operations, and over a thousand individual staff members. Your work will be integral to the organization as you work cross-functionally to ensure ASPCA staff, partners and communities have the tools needed to work effectively and efficiently to improve animal welfare. Where and When You’ll Work This remote-based position (which requires travel, as described below) is open to all eligible candidates based within the United States. Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% annually, as needed. What You’ll Get Compensation The applicable target hiring range for this remote role is based on where the employee works, which for remote roles is the employee’s primary location of residence, and its respective cost of labor. We have organized the U.S. varying costs of labor index into three geographic zones. As a point of reference, below, we have included our ASPCA locations by geographic zone to illustrate what the hiring range would be in each of the following areas. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary ranges for this role are set forth below and may be modified in the future. Zone 1 (For example, Asheville, NC; Champaign, IL; Columbus, OH; Gainesville, FL; Miami, FL; Oklahoma City, OK; Overland, KS; Union, MO; Weaverville, NC): $119,000 - $126,000 annually Zone 2 (For example, Washington D.C.; Los Angeles, CA): $132,000 – 139,000 annually Zone 3 (For example, New York, NY): $145,000-$153,000 annually Benefits At the ASPCA, you don’t have to choose between your passion and making a living.
