About The Position

Provides comprehensive IT project management oversight for multiple concurrent projects in support of Government IT Solutions. Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in accordance with technical, security, and quality standards defined in the PWS and QCP.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active TS/SCI eligibility required
  • DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant
  • IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+ CE preferred), current and verifiable
  • Senior/Lead Project Manager: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project planning tools

Responsibilities

  • Serve as IT Project Manager for multiple small to large-scale IT initiatives.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects in accordance with established project management methodologies.
  • Ensure clear, consistent, and proactive communication with customers to understand requirements and achieve mission objectives.
  • Validate new project requests to ensure feasibility within required timelines and resource constraints.
  • Coordinate with IT Solutions and other HNC-TO sections to ensure technical alignment and successful execution.
  • Conduct weekly project reviews to assess status, task assignments, resource utilization, and milestone progress.
  • Provide input on task prioritization based on customer-requested completion dates and approved schedule adjustments.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and present actionable resolutions to Government leadership.
  • Provide comprehensive weekly status updates to Government leadership, including progress, risks, issues, and planned actions.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet established technical specifications and Quality Control Plan (QCP) standards.
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Champion the use of proven project management methodologies and provide training to team members to ensure consistent implementation.
  • Provide daily oversight of Task Order personnel assigned to IT Solutions.
  • Manage all projects, tickets, and assigned tasks, coordinate directly with the Government IT Solutions Lead for proper assignment and prioritization.
  • Apply ITIL best practices in managing workflows and service delivery.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained during required hours of operation.
  • Coordinate and resolve scheduling conflicts with the Government IT Solutions Lead and/or Task Order Team Lead.
  • Provide leadership to ensure collaborative problem-solving and mission-focused execution.
