The Sr. IT Program Manager in the Office of the CIO serves as a strategic leader and trusted partner, responsible for driving complex, cross-functional IT initiatives and supporting the CIO in executing key technology priorities. This role combines strong program management expertise with business acumen to ensure alignment between IT objectives and organizational goals. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, results-oriented professional with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—able to balance structure with flexibility and quickly earn credibility across all levels of the organization. This is an on-site position based in Seattle, WA.

  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources using standardized methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage scope changes, and drive effective issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, requirements, success criteria, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with other project teams to identify dependencies, remove roadblocks, and ensure program alignment.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new technology requests.
  • Facilitate impact assessments (IA) in partnership with Technology and Finance teams.
  • Track and communicate intake progress, decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison between internal teams and Powered by Trupanion partners to gather requirements and share roadmap updates.
  • Provide transparent updates on sequencing, milestones, and delivery timelines.
  • Deliver regular reporting on program intake, roadmap status, and delivery progress.
  • Proactively surface risks, blockers, and cross-project dependencies to project and product leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT project/program management experience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years managing large-scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple initiatives with competing priorities in a calm, structured manner.
  • Strong organizational and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency with JIRA and formal project management methodologies.
  • PMI certification (PMP or equivalent) required.
