About The Position
The IT Internal Audit Senior will be an integral part of the Zillow Group Internal Audit Team, which is composed of skilled compliance professionals dedicated to fostering a collaborative and trusting relationship with management. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about reducing risk while driving accountability and process improvement. The ideal candidate will excel in identifying and implementing tests of Information Technology General Controls, Automated Business Controls, and mapping end-to-end data flows. Additionally, the role involves testing information security and privacy controls, assisting with audit testing automation, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. In this position, you will assist in defining the IT scope, approach, and project-specific risks and procedures for internal audit engagements. Your responsibilities will include the testing and documentation of IT general controls, automated business controls, and business or operational/regulatory controls that contain an IT component. You will track audit progress, timing, and communicate engagement status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the audit process. Furthermore, you will facilitate information security and privacy audits, engage in special projects for the internal audit team, and propose workflow process improvements and deficiency assessments. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will engage regularly with other internal auditors and external auditors for review, training, and mentorship. You will also assist in developing solutions for audit testing automation for internal audit and other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions at Zillow. This position is categorized as remote, allowing you to work from a location of your choice within the United States, with specific exceptions for certain states. The compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary and eligibility for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location.
