Job Summary The Senior IT Finance & Analytics Analyst applies advanced financial modeling, analysis, and analytics expertise to enable decision-making for The Standard’s Information Technology (IT) Division. In this role, you will join a high‑performing team of IT Finance professionals who delivers business‑partnering excellence through data‑driven insights that enable superior technology investment decisions. Reporting to the Manager, IT Finance Business Partner, you will support financial strategy for one or more IT functional areas or strategic initiatives. Leverage Technology Business Management (TBM) tools – including Apptio – to drive annual budget development, capital planning, forecasting and monthly performance reviews across assigned areas. Use your expertise in IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, capital planning, and operational performance analysis. Provide strong working knowledge of GAAP, including capital vs. operating expense treatment for internally developed software and cloud computing arrangements. Lend understanding of IT infrastructure domains, application development, FinOps practices, and the TBM framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT financial planning and analysis experience within consulting, financial services, or a technology‑driven company.
  • 2+ years leading end‑to‑end financial or process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work in Pacific or Central Time Zone is a requirement of the role.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA in Finance or an advanced degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications: CPA, CMA, FMVA or FPAC. TBM or FinOps certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM), CIO advisory, or financial governance for mergers & acquisitions is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Apptio, JIRA, Targetprocess, Power BI, Alteryx, and Dataiku preferred.
  • Experience using Workday, and ServiceNow is a plus.
