About The Position

Allianz Global Risks US Insurance Company (AGR US) dba Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty in Chicago, IL seeks Senior IT Enterprise Architect. Duties: Support BMP Implementation, drive decommissioning, and establish application roadmaps to guide the IT Delivery with a special focus on North America. Alignment and engagement with stakeholders (Business Owners, Technical Directors, Head of IT/AZ Technology) across the enterprise and region to clarify conflicting views, priorities, and needs. Ensure that IT initiatives and projects within North America and across the enterprise are aligned to the transformation plan given the different business needs, priorities, and affordability. Ensure that Enterprise Architecture initiatives and Group IT Strategy implementations are achieved, and milestones are met. Manage the impact of architectural changes on existing systems, processes, and personnel, ensuring a smooth transition to new solutions. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the insurance industry to provide innovative solutions. Work with various departments within the organization, such as underwriting, claims, and customer service, to align technology with their needs. Telecommuting permitted. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field (or its equivalent) and 8 years of experience in a related occupation. Position requires 8 years of experience in the following: 1) Agile methods (SAFe) and ability to guide agile project teams on opportunities, risks, as well as technical and architectural debt. 2) Insurance technology management, including maintenance of technology blueprints and roadmaps. 3) Driving evaluation and selection of business solutions and technology. 4) Management of architecture governance processes. 5) Facilitating the development and implementation of IT and business initiatives and projects. 6) IT solution development (e.g., application development, middleware, database management, or operations). Telecommuting is permitted. 40 hours/week. $160,555.00 to $193,833.33 per year. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field (or its equivalent)
8 years of experience in a related occupation
8 years of experience in Agile methods (SAFe) and ability to guide agile project teams on opportunities, risks, as well as technical and architectural debt
8 years of experience in Insurance technology management, including maintenance of technology blueprints and roadmaps
