As a Senior IT Engineer on this team, you will work closely with partners across the organization to influence key technology decisions, develop innovative solutions, and help shape the future of how employees experience and interact with enterprise systems. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on both the effectiveness of our internal operations and the success of the company as a whole. This will be a remote role and you will report to the Team Lead, IT Apps and Automation.

  • Support internal customers by building UI solutions and tools
  • Build resilient automation tools to streamline IT business processes and efficiencies
  • Work closely with business partners to understand business strategies while aligning product outcomes to create exceptional experiences using various technology
  • Partner with IT Leadership to develop solutions for improving transparency and unlocking efficiencies across critical business functions
  • Leverage technical and business knowledge to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks (NodeJS/TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, React)
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, React
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres, MYSQL, Cassandra and Scripting knowledge on SQL/PLSQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
  • Familiarity with Agentic Coding practices and a general understanding of Generative AI and LLMs
  • Strong foundation in computer science and engineering: algorithms, data structures, programming, databases, design patterns, virtualization, etc.
  • Experience in building large-scale microservices and applications using cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with development practices and patterns like GitOps, CI/CD, Scrum, and TDD (specific knowledge of Argo, Buildkite, GitHub, and Jira is a plus)
  • Familiarity with orchestration and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker/Orbstack
  • Ability to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, security, and stability of system resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with remote team members across time zones
  • You are outcomes-oriented, always evaluating whether our solution or team's activities are achieving the desired, measurable impact, and continuously iterating to ensure the best solution
