The Department of Citywide Administrative Services Information Technology Line of Service (IT) provides technological guidance within the agency by establishing and directing the strategic and tactical goals, policies and procedures. IT collaborates and consults with all Lines of Services to exchange information, present new approaches and discuss system changes and enhancements. Candidate will assist with the Provision and Support of Enterprise & Cloud Infrastructure Projects.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems; or
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and ten years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, network architecture and/or IT infrastructure systems; or
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Azure DCAS environment.
  • Work with DoITT cloud and other technical teams for technical support and issues.
  • Work with project teams to gather requirements.
  • Implement best practice for cloud implementation and maintenance.
  • Implement security and governance as per DCAS & NYC guidelines.
  • Support the Azure environment for various projects.
