About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior ISSO to support a cyber team on a Naval Intelligence program on-site in Washington, DC. Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Active IAM III Certification - CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and equivalent field
• Bachelor's degree in a technical subject
• Knowledge of and experience with the NAVINTEL ICD 503 Risk Management Framework (RMF) Implementation Policies/Directives and Dept. of Navy (DON) cybersecurity Policies/Directives.
• Knowledge and experience with automated tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmark, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and Retina.
• Experience with ISSO responsibilities per SECNAV M-5239.2
• Knowledge and experience of cybersecurity, A&A and RMF documentation development and support.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain security policies, plans, and procedures.
• Perform risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
• Implement security controls to monitor networks and user access.
• Respond to security breaches and perform security updates.
• Ensure employees and developers comply with security measures.
• Provide guidance to employees on security best practices.
• Coordinate IT risk management activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for security questions and needs.
• Perform system and network self-inspections.
• Attend system meetings and represent the customer on technical review teams.
