Join a large, collaborative team supporting Epic Professional Billing, where you’ll partner closely with operational leaders to optimize workflows, maximize revenue, and accelerate cash performance across the organization. In this role, you’ll tackle meaningful, complex challenges by translating business needs into effective technical solutions that strengthen the revenue cycle across a multi‑facility healthcare system. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders to drive system improvements and implement scalable processes—all while living Providence’s mission and values and making a real difference for caregivers, patients, and communities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
  • Within 90 days of hire: Epic certification
  • 4 or more years of Epic Certification with build experience
  • 7 or more years of Build analyst experience in Epic and/or equivalent healthcare software

Nice To Haves

  • Upon Hire: Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations
  • Resolute Professional Billing Administration Certification and/or Resolute Professional Billing Claims and Remittance Administration Certification
  • Experience with FQHC, RHC, and/or Tribal billing and claims, including familiarity with related workflows, regulations, and build considerations
  • Working knowledge of Self‑Pay / SBO processes, including patient statements, collections workflows, and financial assistance programs
  • Experience supporting or configuring estimates functionality, with an understanding of how estimates impact patient experience, billing accuracy, and revenue cycle outcomes
  • Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit and define requirements for complex systems, translating business needs into well‑designed configurations, workflows, and validated solutions
  • Proven experience contributing to cross‑functional project teams and supporting complex initiatives through completion, making thoughtful adjustments to maintain scope, timeline, and quality
  • Strong track record of building effective, collaborative partnerships with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders in a complex healthcare environment
  • Skilled at identifying, communicating, and escalating risks and issues, with hands‑on experience performing root-cause analysis and troubleshooting application and workflow failures
  • Ability to create, maintain, and continuously improve high‑quality documentation, workflows, and team standards to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency
