Eidra is a leading innovation company expanding in the U.S. market. We're seeking an experienced Senior iOS & Web Engineer to join our product and technology group based in Chicago.
In this role, you'll be a key member of cross-functional teams — owning architecture, setting standards, and delivering secure, high-performing native iOS and web applications end-to-end. This is a rare opportunity for an engineer who is deeply skilled in Swift/SwiftUI and also fluent in TypeScript and modern web frameworks, collaborating seamlessly across disciplines and stacks.
This role is based in Chicago (3 days onsite) and as part of Eidra's expanding U.S. footprint, you'll help establish our reputation for engineering excellence, strategy, and delivery in the American market. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
We are seeking a Senior iOS & Web Engineer to join our Chicago-based team. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a technical leader across both native iOS and modern web platforms — owning architecture, mentoring engineers, setting standards, and delivering exceptional products end-to-end.
This is a rare opportunity for an engineer who is deeply skilled in Swift/SwiftUI and also fluent in TypeScript and modern web frameworks. You will lead iOS-first engagements while being a capable and credible contributor on web projects — collaborating seamlessly across disciplines and stacks.
As part of Eidra's expanding U.S. footprint, you will also contribute to establishing our reputation for engineering excellence, strategy, and delivery in the American market.
Compensation for this role is $145K–$185K base, DOE

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and strong proficiency in modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, Next.js).
• Comfortable leading projects and teams across both mobile and web stacks.
• A collaborative engineer who values diversity, shared ownership, and cross-functional partnership.
• Curious, growth-oriented, and energized by complex problems and emerging technology.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership
• Participate in iOS and modern web projects end-to-end, from architecture through delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and manage pull requests across mobile and web codebases.
• Act as a strategic technical partner to clients — translating complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Navigate ambiguity with confidence and drive clarity across cross-functional teams.
• iOS Development
• Architect, build, and scale high-performance iOS applications using SwiftUI and modern Swift.
• Apply state-driven and modular architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Maintain fluency with legacy iOS patterns: UIKit, MVC, Storyboard, and XIB-based structures.
• Manage iOS build schemas, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
• Analyze, reverse-engineer, and re-architect existing iOS codebases as needed.
• Web Development
• Design and deliver scalable, secure web applications using TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Write clean, modern HTML5 and CSS3 with a strong proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals.
• Apply and advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Work with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) as needed.
• Innovation & Collaboration
• Proactively contribute to technical and product innovation; stay current with emerging technology trends.
• Partner with design, product, and engineering teams across iOS, Android, and web disciplines.
• Help grow and shape Eidra's engineering culture and reputation in the U.S. market.
