About The Position

The Senior Investment Operations Analyst at Thrivent plays a crucial role in supporting the investment process through various middle office functions. This position involves trade and corporate action processing, collateral management, cash reporting and forecasting, and providing support for multi-managed fund transactions. The analyst will also be responsible for developing new business processes, implementing regulatory changes, and maintaining relationships with external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline or equivalent training and experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with institutional investment operations required.
  • CFA, CPA or master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform trade support including affirmations, cash reporting, and failed trade research.
  • Support holdings through reconciliations, derivatives collateral management, and corporate actions.
  • Coordinate the multi-managed product trading process with internal and external portfolio managers.
  • Generate reports on positions and exposures.
  • Assist in investment strategy support including product and strategy changes.
  • Create and develop new business processes.
  • Implement regulatory changes impacting investment functions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, custodians, and key vendors.
  • Train new staff.
