About The Position

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Investment Lead within the Security & Resiliency Initiative (SRI)—a $1.5 trillion, 10-year commitment to investing in industries critical to America’s economic security. This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing investment strategies across multiple verticals, including Defense, Future Technology, Supply Chain, and Energy working collaboratively to drive innovation, growth, and resiliency.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in investment roles, with demonstrated success in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in both public and private markets.
  • Experience across multiple sectors; deep specialization in a single sector is not required.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop small teams of investment professionals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to contribute to complex investment strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital a plus.
  • Public speaking and engagement at conferences or industry events.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative, high-achieving team culture.
  • Experience in both established organizations and entrepreneurial/startup environments.

Responsibilities

  • Investment Execution: Source, evaluate, and execute investments across a range of critical sectors, including supply chain, defense, energy, and advanced technologies. Demonstrate agility in both public and private markets.
  • Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and implementation of investment strategies for SRI, bringing a broad perspective and innovative approach.
  • Team Leadership: Hire and lead a team of 3–4 investors, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Operational Engagement: Exhibit a hands-on approach to all aspects of the investment process, including detailed analysis and execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, government agencies, and community partners. Represent SRI at select forums and advocate for supportive policies.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, supporting a high-performance and growth-oriented environment.
