About The Position
The CalSTRS Investments Branch is seeking an experienced individual to work as a Senior Investment Director over Strategic Management & Operations. Under the direction of the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), the Senior Investment Director (SID), Strategic Management & Operations, is responsible for developing, implementing, and providing oversight of the Investment Branch's strategic priorities, business operational management, and Investment Services divisions. The incumbent ensures adherence to investment policies, mitigates business and operational risks, and addresses audit-related issues. The SID forges strong relationships with peer leaders, CalSTRS Executives, and business partners, making strategic recommendations and decisions that significantly impact the fund. The SID also assists the CIO in developing relationships with the Investment Committee and external stakeholders.
