About The Position

As a Senior Investment Associate on the Asia Solutions team, you’re on a mission to understand the fundamental drivers of markets and turn that understanding into systematic trading strategies and investment advice for our clients. You’ll help expand our understanding of how economies work and distill that understanding into systematic trading strategies. You’ll be wrestling with questions like: How do economic actors behave and what drives their actions? and How can we systematically monitor and predict their actions?

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant field (markets / investing, quantitative analysis, etc).
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• High integrity and culture fit.
• Agility; capable of adapting to unexpected changes and rapidly evolving situations.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Nice To Haves

• A high degree of proficiency with Python & Excel; Scala nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a multi-asset macro portfolio, conducting systematic analyses on fast-moving market actions to deliver strong risk-adjusted returns.
• Provide perceptions on global events, investigate them to discover timeless & universal linkages, and connect those to portfolio investment impact.
• Independently drive initiatives to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our systems.
