Our Newest Opportunity: Summary: The Senior Investment Analyst is a key contributor to the centralized investment function, supporting both institutional and wealth business lines. This role is suited for professionals with 3–8 years of experience who excel in complex investment scenarios and operate with a high degree of independence. Senior Analysts lead advanced research, analytics, and operational workflows, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements across the team. Collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional partners is essential to deliver sophisticated investment solutions and maintain best-in-class standards.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and project management abilities
  • Advanced proficiency with investment software (MDirect, FactSet, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, real estate, alternatives)
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage complex assignments
  • 3–8 years of experience in Asset Management and/or Wealth Management
  • Strong investment and markets background
  • Experience with asset allocation solutions (target date funds, retirement plans, F&E plans, wealth portfolios

  • CFA designation or candidacy highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Advanced Research & Due Diligence: Lead manager/product evaluations, oversee data validation, and synthesize findings for investment committees.
  • Investment Platform & Operations: Oversee updates to approved lists, models, and reference data; ensure rigorous documentation and version control.
  • Trading & Implementation: Supervise trade preparation and reconciliation for complex allocations; resolve post-trade exceptions and ensure audit compliance.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Design and interpret advanced performance, attribution, and risk analyses; maintain dashboards and reporting packages with strict quality control.
  • Advisor & Field Support: Respond to complex information requests, provide expert product/portfolio insights, and support proposal development for high-value cases.
  • Presentation & Content Preparation: Develop and review materials for investment committees, client meetings, and RFPs/RFIs; contribute to market/economic commentary and ensure compliance.
  • Governance & Compliance: Champion adherence to policies and procedures (e.g., best execution, valuation, ERISA/SEC); support audits and surveillance activities.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Mentor junior analysts, lead process mapping initiatives, and drive improvements in quality and efficiency.
  • Professional Development: Demonstrate mastery of investment tools (Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, MDirect, etc.); pursue advanced credentials (e.g., CFA).
