About The Position

The Global Security Senior Investigator at NCR Atleos is responsible for conducting a variety of internal and external investigations related to fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, ATM crime, and bribery. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including audit, Human Resources, and Ethics and Compliance, to communicate findings effectively to senior executives. The investigator will also develop policies and procedures related to safety and security, and monitor compliance with these policies. The position demands a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and may involve significant travel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years investigative experience, 10+ years preferred.
  • Highly motivated and able to independently conduct investigations with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English is required; secondary language skills a plus.
  • Demonstrated note-keeping and report writing ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to conduct investigations to meet criminal and civil evidentiary standards.
  • Experience liaising with corporate and law enforcement investigators.
  • Experience performing risk assessments.
  • Ability to learn basic technical aspects of NCR Atleos' products.
  • Comfortable working in an electronic case management and reporting environment.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate findings to senior executives.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree in a related field of study.
  • Information security background and understanding of principles of information security.
  • Language skills other than English, particularly Spanish.
  • Advanced degrees will set a candidate apart.
  • CFE, CFCE, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CPP, PCI and other security-related certificates.
  • Experience conducting investigations in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external investigations involving fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, ATM crime, and bribery.
  • Develop and present individual investigative plans based on available information.
  • Manage the execution of investigative plans, document results, and maintain detailed case notes.
  • Coordinate and possibly lead external investigators on investigative assignments.
  • Satisfy investigative requirements of Ethics and Compliance and liaise with the Legal Department.
  • Implement fraud and loss prevention programs.
  • Support business units and customers in investigating ATM-related criminal activity.
  • Liaise with Business Unit Management to identify security-related risks and recommend initiatives to mitigate those risks.
  • Assist in assessing the physical security of NCR Atleos assets and employees.
  • Participate in Global Security team meetings to improve investigative capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures and associated training.
  • Provide guidance on security policies and conduct compliance reviews.
  • Determine root causes for issues raised during investigations and develop practical solutions.
  • Write detailed case notes and update reports in a timely manner.
