About The Position

This role is ideal for a tax professional with a strong foundation in U.S. federal and state tax who also brings meaningful international tax experience. The position supports the full spectrum of corporate tax responsibilities including provision, compliance, planning, transfer pricing, and cross-border matters. You will work across domestic and global operations and play a key role in supporting tax planning, ASC 740 reporting, and business initiatives in a SOX-controlled public company environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax; CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax department
  • Strong background in federal and Internation tax exposure
  • Experience with ASC 740 tax provision
  • Familiarity with Forms 5471 and international reporting
  • Understanding of transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Tax Provision (ASC 740) - Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations for U.S. and foreign entities
  • Prepare and document federal, State and international provision workpapers
  • Assist with tax footnote disclosures and supporting documentation
  • Maintain outside basis and APB-23 analyses
  • Support preparation and review of the U.S. federal income tax return (Form 1120 and related filings)
  • Analyze impacts of federal tax law changes including §163(j), §174, bonus depreciation, credits, and other legislative updates
  • Prepare technical tax memos supporting tax positions
  • Assist with cash tax forecasting and effective tax rate analysis
  • Prepare and review international tax calculations including GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, FTCs
  • Support Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8992, 8993
  • Assist with E&P, §986, and §987 calculations
  • Coordinate with foreign advisors to ensure alignment between local filings and U.S. reporting
  • Assist with intercompany pricing, royalties, service fees, and cost allocations
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and audit requests
  • Model tax impacts of operational and supply chain decisions
  • Support domestic and international restructuring projects
  • Maintain documentation supporting tax positions and internal controls
  • Prepare supporting documentation for auditors
  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations, and external advisors
