About The Position

We are seeking an International Security Specialist to join our team to help contribute to our success and help us solve problems with innovation through intelligence. The International Security Specialist (ISS) is multidisciplinary individual, with security expertise in Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) Security Operations; Personnel Security (PERSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Communication Security (COMSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Cybersecurity (CYBER) operations. ISS provide CONUS and OCONUS international security support to our Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries with expert advise in all security functional areas allowing our Partner and FMS countries to enter multibillion dollar defensive partnerships with the United States. The ISS is responsible to ensure that all appropriate international policies and procedures are updated in accordance with pertinent U.S. Government regulations, policies, and procedures. The ISS will provide tasks that include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehensively support tasks
  • Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of the security requirements of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes
  • Basic knowledge of international program security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
  • Independent self-starter, able to perform multiple tasks, constructively engage and resolve challenging situations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • A Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Master's Degree in the stated discipline plus 10 Years of relevant experience OR BA/BS degree in the stated discipline plus 14 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-disciplined security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals as coordinated with Government security leads.
  • Develop and conduct Country Security Manager training.
  • Conducts F-35 security classification reviews.
  • Coordinates OCONUS and CONUS courier missions and develops transportation plans for the secure transportation of classified material.
  • Provide continuous evaluation of F-35 Partner and FMS security posture and provide written updates.
  • Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in developing country-unique security documents to ensure protection of F-35 assets at the appropriate level.
  • Assist JPO Security Team with developing and staffing country-unique security documents.
  • Coordinate with JPO cybersecurity and foreign disclosure professionals and the Program Security Officer (PSO) staff on all pertinent security matters.
  • Plan and lead security conferences, symposiums, and security working groups with Partners FMS countries to resolve complex International Security issues.
  • Provides International Security support at various testing events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
