About The Position

The Senior Outreach Specialist is a key strategic partner in expanding the university's recruitment efforts, focusing on creating and managing initiatives that drive enrollment growth among international students. This position requires independent decision-making, discretion, and leadership in developing partnerships, managing outreach strategies, and providing actionable insights to enhance the university's international presence.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently on complex projects.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in managing partnerships and recruitment strategies.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to synthesize information and make recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including institutional leaders and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in student recruitment, sales, or community outreach, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the needs of international students and the ability to address those needs proactively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other software for managing recruitment efforts.
  • Willingness to travel extensively both locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify, establish, and manage partnerships with ESL schools, community colleges, and F1 student-friendly companies.
  • Negotiate agreements and collaborations that align with the university's enrollment objectives.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive outreach strategies to attract qualified international students.
  • Analyze outreach efforts, enrollment trends, and market data to make recommendations for improving recruitment outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that align with institutional goals.
  • Oversee and lead the university's participation in local, national, and international recruitment fairs, networking events, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with university leadership to develop new programs or initiatives that meet the needs of international students.
  • Assess and enhance internal recruitment policies and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness in reaching goals.
