About The Position

Bunzl Australasia is a large and diverse corporate group based in Mulgrave, Victoria. Due to recent growth and expansion, we are looking for a proactive and detail‑driven professional to support the rollout and ongoing management of the Internal Controls Essentials (ICE) Program across Bunzl’s APAC business units. In this role, you’ll work closely with Internal Controls and Management teams to strengthen our control environment and uplift governance standards. As the Senior Internal Controls Analyst you will provide hands-on support to the Bunzl APAC Internal Controls and Management teams in implementing and maintaining the Internal Controls Essentials (ICE) Program across multiple APAC business units. It is responsible for contributing to controls uplift activities and performing controls testing in accordance with the Bunzl Internal Controls Framework. Initially, you will be working between Bunzl offices in Mulgrave and Dandenong South.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field
• CA or CPA qualified or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex, multinational environment or Big 4 or Mid-Tier audit firm, Working knowledge with most recent control’s methodology.
• Management Review Controls and Information Produced by Entities (IPE) are preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience in accounting standards applications and data analytic is an advantage.
• Software applications such as GRC system and MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, PowerQuery).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support in implementing and maintaining the ICE Program across multiple APAC entities.
• Undertake controls testing in line with the Bunzl Internal Controls Framework.
• Contribute to controls uplift initiatives that enhance process efficiency and compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple teams and Bunzl Business units to embed controls standards and drive continuous improvement.
