About The Position

A leading organization in the travel industry is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its growing Internal Audit team in Woodland Hills, CA.
Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, this role plays a key part in executing the annual audit plan, supporting the SOX 404 compliance program, and leading financial and operational audits across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional with public accounting or Big 4 experience who wants exposure to a dynamic, global business environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of internal audit, public accounting, or SOX experience
• Strong understanding of internal controls and risk assessment
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Nice To Haves

• CPA or CIA certification preferred
• Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned internal audit engagements from planning through reporting
• Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits (including SOX 404 testing)
• Identify control gaps, assess risk, and recommend process improvements
• Draft clear, concise audit reports with actionable remediation plans
• Present findings to management and key stakeholders
• Conduct follow-up reviews to ensure timely issue resolution
• Collaborate with co-sourced audit providers as needed
• Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
