About The Position

Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly growing, free platform that helps museums, galleries, and cultural spaces make their institutions, stories, and dynamic content more engaging to audiences around the world. Launched in 2019, Connects features multimedia guides with unique content exclusive to each of our 1,000+ institutions across 33 countries. As part of Bloomberg's culture of giving back, Connects is a joint effort between Bloomberg and Bloomberg Philanthropies in support of their work to ensure better, longer lives for the greatest number of people by focusing on five key areas: the arts, education, the environment, government innovation, and public health. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the design of innovative products, managing complex projects, and ensuring a significant business impact through a user-centered approach. You'll report directly to the UX team lead and collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team of product managers, designers, engineers, as well as our arts and culture partners and business team.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with a strong portfolio showcasing complex projects and design impact
Strong skills and demonstrated experience in user research
Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools
Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
Flexibility to travel for onsite research
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Identify problems and deliver solutions, guiding designs from conception to execution.
Work closely with our researcher to plan, execute, and analyze studies, and to share findings with key stakeholders.
Partner with data engineers on formative and summative evaluations throughout the design lifecycle.
Manage a high volume of projects to keep pace with shifting release schedules and business priorities.
Drive business impact through user-centered design, aligning decisions with project objectives and establishing outcomes.
Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for working with cultural institutions and their visitors to expand access to arts and culture.
