About The Position

GDIT is seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC). The role involves leading collection, research, and analysis efforts in support of the center’s objectives, mission priorities, and law enforcement operations. The analyst will write high-quality intelligence products, including threat analyses, strategic assessments, and briefing materials for a variety of audiences. Additionally, the analyst will utilize publicly available information and review real-time threats for officer safety, providing situational updates and assessments to leadership and tactical decision makers. Mentoring other analysts, collaborating with interagency partners, and monitoring current events and emerging threats are also key responsibilities. The position requires developing and maintaining strategic analysis capabilities and analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • US citizenship required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of research, analysis, and intelligence-oriented experience.
  • Expert-level experience conducting intelligence analysis and trend analysis.
  • Expert-level proficiency in the intelligence cycle.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate with public safety agency executives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional writing and public speaking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collection, research, and analysis efforts in support of the center’s objectives and mission priorities.
  • Write high-quality intelligence products, including threat analyses and strategic assessments.
  • Utilize publicly available information and review real-time threats for officer safety.
  • Provide situational updates and assessments to leadership and tactical decision makers.
  • Mentor other analysts by reviewing products and sharing best practices.
  • Collaborate with interagency, federal, state, and local partners.
  • Monitor current events, emerging threats, and relevant trends.
  • Develop and maintain strategic analysis capabilities.
  • Collect data using standard intelligence methods and business processes.
  • Perform and lead additional duties as assigned.
  • Lead special projects as required.
