About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity on its Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems (SIWS) Strategy team for a Senior Strategy Analyst for our Intelligence and Space Exploration businesses ! In this role you will develop and deliver strategic analysis that informs business strategy, investment decisions, capture planning, and senior leadership decision-making. This position will be based in Arlington, VA. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum of 5 years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations
• 5 years of experience creating executive level presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Excel)
• Knowledge of National Air and Space Administration (NASA) programs, plans and procurement environment
• Familiarity with Intelligence Community customers and acquisition processes
• Experience with cross-functional projects
• Experience in strategy, corporate development, or market analysis role or related experience
• Experience presenting work products to executives, senior leadership, or external customers
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior business and functional leaders
• This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

• Level 5: 7+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in developing and analyzing complex business case and cost models
• Familiarity with Space Launch market and customers
• Experience with systems engineering, operations analysis, and/or threat analysis

Responsibilities

• Monitor and synthesize trends across technology, investments, threat, competitors and customers to identify strategic opportunities and risks
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Program Management, Engineering, Business Development, Finance) to develop investment plans and business cases
• Ability to understand the bigger strategic picture, while also being able to deep-dive into the key strategic and tactical issues of the businesses
• Create concise, executive-level briefings and written deliverables that clearly present conclusions and actionable recommendations for senior leaders
