About The Position

The Senior Integrations Engineer will analyze, develop, test, and support complex integrations with multiple vendors and clients, requiring higher levels of support and intervention, and advanced interoperability standards. This role involves on-boarding new data sources and in-migration of existing data feeds. The engineer will support integration testing throughout the project life cycle, perform feed migration, and proactively address enterprise-wide issues. Responsibilities also include performing regression testing to ensure product/interfaces function as expected, and designing and executing unit, system, and integration test plans for new developments, releases, and reports. The position serves as a secondary escalation point for connectivity, data quality, and standards adherence issues, monitors the interoperability environment for interface-related problems, and assists in diagnosing integration issues. The engineer will manage delivery expectations with participants, escalating to leadership when necessary, and coordinate changes with multiple project management teams. Key tasks include conducting and documenting validation results for HL7, C-CDA, XDS.b, Webservice, API, and other basic interoperability standards. The role requires working with CyncHealth participants to understand customer's product-specific requirements and configuration, and collaborating with vendors, internal, and external stakeholders to ensure integrations comply with CyncHealth data standards and specifications, aligning with enterprise standards for data quality. The individual is also responsible for protecting the assets, integrity, security, and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or closely related field
  • Five years of experience in application integration or a closely related technical field
  • Five years of knowledge in HL7
  • Four years of background in CCD technologies
  • Three years of background working with one of the following integration engines: Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Intersystem, or Ensemble
  • Understanding of HIPAA
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking terminology
  • Background reading vendor specifications and performing gap analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one given time
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities
