Hastings Insurance is currently seeking a Senior Integration Developer that will play a key role in enhancing and supporting the integration of our core Property and Casualty systems. This position blends technical design, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the success of mission-critical software initiatives, including system modernization. It’s a highly visible role with opportunities to partner across departments and contribute to long-term architectural solutions. Requirements

  • ASSOCIATE OR BACHELOR’S DEGREE, OR EQUIVALENT RELEVANT EXPERIENCE.
  • 5+ YEARS OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE WITH A FOCUS ON SYSTEMS INTEGRATION.
  • EXPERTISE IN MICROSERVICE ARCHITECTURE, .NET 8/9, AND MODERN INTEGRATION FRAMEWORKS.
  • STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF CLIENT/SERVER AND DATABASE CONCEPTS.
  • EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH IDE TOOLS AND UTILITIES WITHIN A COLLABORATIVE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT.
  • PROVEN ABILITY TO MANAGE PRIORITIES IN A FAST-PACED, EVOLVING ENVIRONMENT.
  • EXCELLENT PROBLEM-SOLVING, COMMUNICATION, AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS.

  • BACKGROUND IN PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

  • DESIGN, DEVELOP, AND DEPLOY COMPLEX SYSTEM INTEGRATIONS THAT ALIGN WITH BUSINESS NEEDS.
  • TRANSLATE FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS INTO SCALABLE TECHNICAL DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS.
  • PROGRAM AND CONFIGURE COMPONENTS ACROSS INTEGRATIONS, PLUG-INS, AND MESSAGING SYSTEMS.
  • COLLABORATE WITH ARCHITECTURE TEAMS TO PRESENT SOLUTION OPTIONS AND PROVIDE EFFORT ESTIMATES.
  • FOLLOW ESTABLISHED SDLC PROCESSES FOR CODING, CONFIGURATION, TESTING, DEBUGGING, AND DOCUMENTATION.
  • PROMOTE AND APPLY BEST PRACTICES AND CODING STANDARDS TO ENHANCE DEVELOPMENT PRODUCTIVITY.
  • MENTOR JUNIOR DEVELOPERS AND ASSIST IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.
  • PARTICIPATE IN ONGOING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND STAY CURRENT ON EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES.
