The Tailored Systems Business Area within Electronics Program Office directorate delivers first-of-a-kind field-ready microelectronics solutions in support of National Security missions. Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
  • Requires 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fast paced development environments
  • Experience interfacing with, operating, and troubleshooting environmental test equipment (rate tables, shakers, impact testers, thermal, humidity, and pressure chambers)
  • Experience automating and optimizing test infrastructure and processes
  • Experience with Python and test scripting

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to ensure designs are testable and provide feedback throughout the design process
  • Contribute to system concepts and architectures that promote design-for-test capabilities
  • Take mission focused requirements and develop them into a testable set of requirements
  • Develop the requisite test to verify the requirements including but not limited to ATP, DVT and qualification testing
  • Serve as system integrators and execute system validation activities
  • Coordinate and lead a team of 3 - 5 individual contributors to plan, execute, and document development and production testing in accordance with program objectives and requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
