About The Position

Genius is seeking a Senior Integrated Marketing Strategist to lead concept development, writing, and managing integrated marketing proposals for various advertising partners – bringing new ideas to life and guiding branded content programs from initial brainstorming to pitch. With a focus on Genius, you will be responsible for owning the RFP process from start to finish and developing best-in-class proposals that move the needle for brands.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant integrated marketing experience, preferably in a role focused on responding to RFPs at a media company or entertainment property.
  • Experience leading the pre-sales RFP process, including organizing and leading creative brainstorms, building decks, and liaising across multiple departments.
  • Experience developing large branded content programs that include custom video, editorial, tech, and experiential.
  • Foundational knowledge of Genius’s core audience and how to engage them through different topics across music, entertainment, and internet culture trends.
  • An independent self-starter with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Up-to-date on the latest branded content trends and can bring new formats to the table.
  • Proficient in Google Slides, Keynote, and/or Powerpoint.

  • Experience working in music, internet culture, or fashion.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret briefs and partner with internal teams to develop RFP response strategies for clients and categories.
  • Lead brainstorms, proposal development, and final presentation of creative solutions.
  • Be an experienced member of the Marketing team and a go-to resource for answering client feedback.
  • Proactively identify and develop new opportunities and go-to-market packages for various cultural tentpoles and initiatives throughout the year.
  • Help manage the Integrated Marketing workflow system and communicate with different teams throughout the RFP pitch process.
  • Understand trends in the market and bring insights to inform future integrated marketing efforts.
  • Build strong partnerships with organizations around the company, including Social, Product, Account Management, Community, Design, etc.
  • Manage multiple projects and work with tight deadlines.
