About The Position

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator to join our Data Center Group to implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes throughout the phases of a project. This role is crucial for ensuring that the VDC processes are effectively integrated into the construction workflow, enhancing project efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, as they will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing data center environment. The ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient, while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality, is vital to success in this role. As a Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms. This may include utilizing Mortenson's BIM/VDC tools for existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling. You will serve as the point of contact for construction team members regarding VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction, ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed. Additionally, you will document work processes as they relate to improving and/or changing current company process standards and assist in training team members on VDC processes. Active participation in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team (IDAT) community of practice is expected, where you will share knowledge and best practices with your peers. Daily work planning will also be a key component of your responsibilities, ensuring that all tasks are organized and executed efficiently.
