Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or insurance credential preferred).
  • Proven experience in insurance product management, actuarial, underwriting, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of auto insurance products, pricing methodologies, and regulatory processes.
  • Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Tableau, or similar; strong Excel skills required.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

  • Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data-driven product strategies for Hagerty’s personal auto programs across assigned states.
  • Monitor profitability, retention, loss ratios, and customer experience. Translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee ideation, pricing, filing, launch, and continuous improvement of products.
  • Partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, state filings, marketing, and IT to deliver on product goals.
  • Present product strategies and performance updates to senior leadership; support agent and member-facing teams during launches.
  • Work closely with regulatory agencies to secure approvals and maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Utilize SQL, Tableau, and modeling platforms (Radar, Python, R) to identify emerging trends, forecast performance, and shape strategy.
  • Apply experience launching and scaling insurance products across multiple jurisdictions with agility and precision.
  • Connect data insights to strategy, using compelling narratives to influence business outcomes.
