About The Position

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Insurance Analyst to support the Company’s evolving insurance program and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Head of Insurance, this role is a key partner to both internal teams and external partners, managing insurance coverage requirements across multiple platforms and devising strategies to solve complex risk challenges. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who excels in a results-oriented environment and possesses a proven track record of implementing best-in-class insurance solutions for large-scale, sophisticated projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of insurance and/or risk management expertise (construction, real estate, industrial, energy, or infrastructure insurance experience preferred)
  • Experience building and managing insurance brokerage relationships, negotiating coverage requirements, and implementing new insurance solutions
  • Proven ability to distill complex insurance topics into manageable decisions for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects, building stakeholder consensus, and balancing perspectives to achieve high-value organizational results
  • Self-directed individual comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment who can prioritize and manage cross-functional projects and external partners with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • One of two primary internal contacts for insurance questions and coverage requirements.
  • Review loan documents, construction agreements, and other third-party contracts to evaluate and negotiate insurance requirements.
  • Work with internal and external parties to perform an annual review of insurance certificates, policies, endorsements, statement of values, and invoices to determine compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver insurance reports and budgets, including regular program updates to executive management.
  • Partner with and assist third-party insurance brokers, accounting, and finance teams in evaluating and implementing tailored risk management strategies.
  • Perform general insurance tasks as needed and maintain applicable insurance data.
  • Support cross-functional projects with Treasury involvement, as needed.
