This position is for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer supporting project needs at the Duane Arnold Energy Center. The role will initially be remote but may transition to a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days in the office and two days remote. Sargent & Lundy's Nuclear Power Group is expanding its Instrumentation and Controls Engineering team due to increasing demand for electric power and the digitization of existing nuclear power plants, which are a carbon-free energy source. The successful candidate will work in a project team environment, collaborating with other engineers and designers on the design, modification, and analysis of instrumentation and control systems in new and existing power plants. This involves investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a variety of electrical controls engineering issues. Sargent & Lundy has been a leader in nuclear engineering, design, and licensing since 1954, with expertise in small modular reactors (SMRs), advanced reactor technology (ART), and commercial reactor restart projects.
