About The Position

The Department of Civil Engineering and Construction in the College of Engineering, Design and Computing at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a part time non-tenure track faculty position at the level of Senior Instructor. The major responsibility of the individual in this position will be teaching courses in the undergraduate Civil Engineering and Construction program, specifically Geotechnical Engineering. The individual will serve on master's graduate student committees and advise graduate students in topics related to geotechnical engineering.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering.
  • 5 years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering.
  • Experience advising and mentoring students.
  • Professional Civil Engineering license in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities
