Senior Installation Technician (Execution Lead)

All Pro Plumbing NWEverett, WA

About The Position

All Pro Plumbing is hiring a Service and Installation Technician (hourly, non-commission) to raise field execution performance by independently running customer service calls and also taking on complex, high-risk work and stabilizing the schedule when urgent issues arise. You will model best-in-class workmanship and customer communication, support same-day recoveries, and help the team prevent repeat failures through strong documentation and coaching-by-example. The successful candidate will be required to work weekends as part of a typical 5-day scheduled shift.

Requirements

  • Current Washington State trainee certificate holder with 2,000 VERIFIED hours by L&I (required) or higher licensure if applicable.
  • Strong residential service/installation experience with a track record of handling complex jobs and difficult customer situations.
  • High standards for documentation and communication (ServiceTitan or similar).
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions under pressure, and support team stability.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license and ability to work in a mobile, physical job environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take on complex/high-risk jobs as assigned (repeat failures, sensitive customers, high-dollar work) and execute to code/workmanship standards.
  • Support schedule integrity by absorbing overflow or urgent work to protect customer commitments.
  • Provide second-opinion support and same-day recoveries when assigned (parts pivots, late jobs, edge-case diagnostics).
  • Model best-in-class on-site behavior: professionalism, expectation setting, cleanliness, and long-term reliability.
  • Coach technicians in the moment when risk is high or when asked, without disrupting the chain of command.
  • Maintain high-quality ServiceTitan documentation (photos, notes, approvals, and invoice accuracy) and flag systemic gaps with evidence.
  • Escalate immediately when safety hazards or code ambiguity are present; consult the designated Field Quality Coach for edge-case calls.
  • Safety-first: stop work and escalate when hazards are present or suspected (gas, sewage exposure, electrical, structural risk).
  • Execute work to applicable code and company workmanship standards; no “band-aid” fixes.
  • Protect customer trust through conservative commitments, clear options, and calm de-escalation.
  • Do not promise refunds/discounts/warranty outcomes; route approvals to the proper owner.
  • Document thoroughly to reduce disputes, callbacks, and repeat failures.
