About The Position

RK&K's
Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) and Construction
Management Division is hiring Senior Construction Inspectors in and around the
Lake Okeechobee, FL area. As a Senior Construction Inspector with RK&K you will
lead and strengthen our construction engineering and inspection business.
Including highway, bridge, design / design-build projects. Opportunities for
growth and training into construction management and office engineering careers.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent plus four (4) years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) year of which shall have been in roadway construction inspection
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I and Level II
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I and Level II
• CTQP Drilled Shaft
• CTQP Final Estimates I
• FDOT Intermediate MOT
• IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector

Nice To Haves

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Previous senior roadway inspection experience

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Administrator in daily roadway inspection
• Ensuring contractor compliance alongside quality control
• Performing verification inspections and testing as required
• These tests and inspections include, but are not limited to: earthwork, asphalt, concrete, bridge and miscellaneous structures, toll facilities, lighting, signalization, environmental compliance, maintenance of traffic, etc.
• This position provides general supervision and instruction for the CEI Inspectors on the projects
