  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster growth and development.
  • Grow the sales team by actively participating in the recruitment process, hiring new sales team members, and ensuring successful onboarding and training.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with each sales team member to track progress, address questions, and ensure individual success.
  • Provide continuous training and mentorship to new hires, helping them ramp up quickly and integrate seamlessly into the team.
  • Organize and facilitate weekly team huddles to share updates, discuss opportunities, and stay aligned on team goals and accountability.
  • Actively coach the team through side-by-side sessions, role-playing, call listening, and voicemail practice to enhance sales skills.
  • Provide feedback and guidance on KPIs, ensuring team members understand their goals and are on track to meet them.
  • Track and report on team performance metrics, including scorecards and KPIs, to ensure accountability and measure progress.
  • Regularly review team performance in meetings and proactively seek support from leadership or peers when necessary.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s values and culture both internally and externally.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions in Toronto, requiring a passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • 4-year degree
  • Located in the Chicago metro area – this is a hybrid position, requiring commuting to the offices in Rosemont for client workshop days, approximately 60% of workdays
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading sales teams in a professional services environment
  • 5 years of experience leading a sales team in a professional services environment with a proven track record of exceeding results
  • Previous success in scaling sales teams
  • Professional certifications related to sales leadership and continuous learning
  • Demonstrated career growth within sales roles
  • Experience in public speaking and engaging groups effectively
  • Sales training experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership experience in driving cultural or organizational change
  • Experience guiding a team through sales operational transformations (i.e. new CRM or sales process implementation)
  • Background in improving sales operations and creating efficiencies
  • Advanced CRM skills, with experience in emerging technologies such as AI or Salesforce plug-ins
  • Comfortable using social media platforms, creating engaging content and networking
