Requirements

  • 5-7 years of inside sales experience, ideally within technology, manufacturing parts, distribution, or a customer‑facing technical environment.
  • Proven success in negotiation, upselling, and relationship‑building.
  • Confidence in preparing, presenting, and refining customer quotes.
  • Experience using ERP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data tracking).
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly via email.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Resourceful problem‑solving skills with sound critical thinking.
  • A proactive, collaborative self‑starter mindset with a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing customer quotes, including pricing validation, delivery timelines, and terms.
  • Processing customer purchase orders with accuracy and speed.
  • Managing order status through backlog reports, open orders, customer portals, and internal systems.
  • Monitoring and following up on quotes, orders, and customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinating cross‑functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth order fulfillment and on-time delivery.
  • Acting as a primary liaison between customers, sales teams, and suppliers.
  • Supporting business development efforts and assisting with Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
  • Providing consistent, high‑quality account management to both new and existing clients.
