About The Position

The Senior Inside Sales manager is responsible for the team that supports selling corporate products to businesses and aerospace establishments or individuals. Directs and manages the customer service activities of Heatcon, Inc., to promote quality service. Manage the customer service and inside sales team to provide customers with accurate price quotations, web sales, excellent customer service, and technical application assistance to expand the profitability of the customer account base and product sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or other technical training and a minimum of five years of sales or customer service experience in manufacturing, or industrial distribution environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience highly desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing customer service department.
  • Technical competence and knowledge in aerospace sales highly desired.
  • Proficient with a personal computer and keyboard, word processing programs, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to read professional reports, scientific and technical journals, and legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to other employees, management, and customers.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers.
  • Must be able to write professional correspondence.
  • Must have strong customer service and persuasive sales skills.
  • Must have experience in managing and training individuals.
  • Ability to apply concepts of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, product pricing, profit margins.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Establishment and maintenance of excellent customer service group and consistent Company image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Develop professional working relationships and rapport with customer contacts and sales representatives while effectively functioning as one of the Company's leaders to firmly, professionally, and accurately communicate Company policies and guidelines including product information, availability, and customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with outside sales to keep account activities and information up to date.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor service calls to observe team members' interaction, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies.
  • Analyze reports of findings and recommend response to complaints, considering nature and complexity of complaints, requirements, and actions of subordinates to ensure settlements are made correctly.
  • Review work volume statistics and records of customer service requests and complaints.
  • Submit monthly management status reports to Vice President - Finance.
  • Accurately and efficiently manage, build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Develop and execute accurate knowledge of Company products, services, and familiarity with competitors' products to assist in identifying concepts, processes, products, and services that can be implemented to add to the value of the business relationship.
  • Participate in the development of pricing strategies while balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and traveling to educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Prepare business reports for all transactions as requested.
  • Identify and incorporate concepts, processes, products, and services that can be implemented to add to the value of the business relationship.
  • Provide support to other sales personnel on all pre-sale and post-sale activities including order processing, order entry, vendor relations, follow-up, and training, as necessary.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually
