Job Description Your Responsibilities: As a member of our Core Infrastructure team reporting to the Core Infrastructure Manager, you will contribute to our transformation from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture. You will support infrastructure both in our private and public cloud data centers. You will help improve the reliability and delivery of our product through the use of automation and auto remediation. Your experience with a well-maintained environment will guide you to ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and sustainable manner. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to occasionally travel, up to 10% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Typically requires 5+ years managing IT infrastructure
  • Ubuntu Linux experience in an enterprise environment
  • Strong Scripting Knowledge (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • The ability to develop project plans and create individual tasks from a project plan
  • Experience using a variety of open source technologies and cloud services including: Kubernetes supporting enterprise needs: Kubernetes platforms, Docker, Spacelift
  • Infrastructure/Configuration as code: Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
  • Proven history building automated solutions that enable rapid deployment and increased scalability
  • Hands on experience with physical server infrastructure
  • Familiarity with monitoring services such as Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana, LibreNMS, Virtana, etc.
  • Experience working with physical hardware in remote colocation datacenters via smart-hands
  • Public Cloud experience: Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
  • Backup applications such as Veeam
