Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in programming using an object-oriented programming language, such as Rust, Java or Python.
  • Understanding of Linux systems and system operations automation.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of configuration automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM.
  • Understanding of messaging buses such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with relational databases and non-relational stores, such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.
  • Strong software design skills.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions to enhance IT infrastructure operations.
  • Develop and maintain automation systems using object-oriented programming languages, leveraging modern IDEs such as Cursor for efficient development.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services to build scalable and efficient infrastructure automation systems.
  • Apply expertise in Linux systems to script and automate operations effectively.
  • Use knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including load balancers, firewalls, and network protocols, to develop robust automation solutions.
  • Implement configuration automation with open source tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives and integrate solutions across various technological areas.
