The City of Phoenix's Police Department is seeking a Senior Information Technology System Specialist to analyze and solve a variety of computer hardware, technical system, and application systems relating to Police operations. This includes applications systems analysis, development, coordination, implementation, and documentation ensuring that on-prem and cloud-based applications and sub-system activities are compatible with total system objectives. This position handles the broadest aspects of problems and projects including: * Long range equipment acquisition and day-to-day utilization. * Interfaces between the user and the computer on hardware/software problems. * Provision of advanced training to personnel on various technical matters. * Supports critical systems and interfaces within the Phoenix Police Department and Maricopa Region 9-1-1 System. * Implements migration plans, upgrades paths, and supports systems architecture and testing. * Manages team projects, service ticket prioritizing, and the critical systems support division. A successful candidate would have the ability to support: * Windows environments including Windows Server and Active Directory. PowerShell knowledge a plus. * Real Time Operations Center systems and all interfaces that feed the Real Time Operations Center. * The new Command Central Awareness (CC Aware), an integrated public safety software suite designed to connect all data, heighten collaboration, and deliver the most complete view of an incident, from call to case closure. * IBM ILMT (License Metric Tool), IBM MQ (message-oriented middleware), Records Management System (RMS), Field Based Reporting (FBR), CLIPS, Command Central (CC) Responder and other related critical systems and interfaces. * All critical systems and applications.
