About The Position

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in our National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Requirements

  • 14+ years of Information Security experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field OR 18+ years of directly related information security experience without a degree.
  • Active IASAE Level II certification (CISSP, CASP+ CE, or CSSLP).
  • Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS environments and cloud security integration.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as the primary security engineering representative on teams designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave systems.
  • Conduct technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance with IA regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Apply knowledge of IA policies and RMF processes to support security planning, risk analysis, and authorization activities.
  • Support the enforcement of trusted relationships across external systems and architectures, ensuring consistent application of agency security policies.
  • Develop and validate system security requirements, contributing to secure system design and implementation across multiple enclaves and classification levels.
  • Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation for completeness and compliance, providing expert feedback to stakeholders.
  • Recommend system-level security solutions and contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security architectures.
