Guidehouse is currently seeking technical professionals in support of our Department of Defense client. We are seeking an experienced Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) (Managing Consultant) with a proven track record to possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of information system security across key assignments, specifically for government clients. The ideal candidate will plan and lead major ISSO activities supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and collaborate with system owners and cybersecurity teams to progress through RMF steps. Function as technical expert on information system security across multiple projects. Support development of System Security Plans and assessment documentation. Coordinate security control implementation and assessment activities. Maintain security documentation in approved repositories including eMASS . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop security plans, generate assessment reports, and formulate remediation POA&Ms Maintain security documentation in approved DoD repositories. Coordinate security control implementation and assessment activities. Support development of System Security Plans and assessment documentation. Function as technical expert on information system security across multiple projects. Evaluate information system security posture and recommend major improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree is required
  • Minimum of SEVEN (7) years of related experience in security controls assessments and applying the Risk Management Framework.
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED “Secret” Federal or DOD security clearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills managing a diverse set of stakeholders and direct client management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues and project goals to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities that impact the success of plans or initiatives.
  • Experience developing and maintaining trusted relationships with Federal clients onsite.
  • Experience managing direct client engagement team to deliver impactful support to Federal clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing security controls artifacts and evidence, including but not limited to: System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, and POA&Ms

Nice To Haves

  • At least one cyber certification: Security+, Certified Cloud Security P rofessional (CCSP ) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
