About The Position
The Senior Information Security Engineer has responsibility for the security of ITA Group’s information systems, data assets, infrastructure, and AI tools usage and governance. This role translates security policies and regulatory requirements into effective technical and operational controls, while providing senior-level technical leadership, mentorship, and governance oversight. The position balances hands-on engineering, compliance execution, and forward-looking AI security governance.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years experience in information security.
- CISSP, CCSP, or other comparable certification required.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, implement, monitor, and continuously improve security controls protecting endpoints, servers, networks, applications, cloud platforms, and data.
- Monitor enterprise security platforms and respond to alerts, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Analyze logs, alerts, and anomalous activity from MDR, EDR, SIEM, cloud security, and monitoring tools.
- Lead or support Incident Response (ISIRT) activities.
- Lead and support audits including SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS 4.x, GDPR.
- Provide input on security policies, standards, and documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for AI security.
- Define and monitor DLP controls for AI tools.
