This is for a future opportunity MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Information Assurance Specialist to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This position is onsite. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Requirements
- BA/BS degree, or, High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience, or, Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu o Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of relevant experience in the field or in a related area
- Holds one of the following certifications: CISSP/CISM/CISA/GCIH
- Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
Responsibilities
- Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives
- Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools
- Tests and debugs programs and scripts and prepares instruction for use during network exploitation activities
- Applies knowledge of current IA policy, tactics, techniques, policy, and doctrine, and relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure
- Assists in the planning and implementation of requirements
