About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for an Information Assurance Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ. Job Summary: Are you passionate about systems engineering and cybersecurity? We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team, ensuring secure, compliant, and innovative systems in a classified environment. What You’ll Experience: Hands-on work with the system development life cycle and Risk Management Framework (RMF) . Implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and running security assessments across various platforms. Building RMF documentation, including security plans, testing plans, and compliance analysis. Conducting vulnerability scans and compliance checks in a DevSecOps environment . Collaborating with teams, customers, and stakeholders to solve complex cybersecurity challenges. What You Bring to the Table: Strong expertise in systems engineering and cybersecurity frameworks like NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53. Experience with STIGs , security policies, and vulnerability assessments for different systems and devices. Proficiency in developing RMF documentation and performing compliance scans. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. A TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph , plus an active Security+ or CISSP certification . What Sets You Apart: Participation in cybersecurity working groups and Agile teams . A self-starter mindset with creative problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and security tools. Location & Requirements: This position is on-site in a classified facility in Scottsdale, AZ Must meet the security clearance and certification requirements stated above. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
