  • Perform secure boot integration.
  • Manage secure key management to provision keys during development and manage private key storage.
  • Implement bootloader and secure firmware updates using cryptology key pairs, digital signatures, certificate chains, and hashing algorithms.
  • Understand system architecture chain of trust and Trusted Platform Modules.
  • Work with Development and Test teams to plan, implement, and support verification of security requirements.
  • Support the development of the RMF body of evidence for security requirements.
  • Report relevant cyber systems engineering designs.
  • Lead security work groups and communicate effectively with senior levels of security work groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
  • 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of work.
  • Experience with software development/integration.
  • Knowledge of secure key management, bootloader implementation, and secure firmware updates.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and their security features.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) 800-53.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CISSP certification or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience with the development of embedded systems for avionics applications.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security technology and trends.
  • Ability to apply basic project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls.
