This position will directly support the Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) in a Special Access Program (SAP) within the Experimental Systems Group (ESG). This individual will be the Personnel Security (PERSEC) Lead overseeing all personnel security processes and procedures working with both senior and junior staff members to administer and implement security standards as outlined in the National Industrial Security Procedures Operations Manual (NISPOM) and the Department of Defense (DoD) 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Manual, Volumes 1-4. Position Responsibilities: Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action Communicates results to security management and customers Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Communicates results to security management and customers Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs Leads and performs Personnel Security team and/or processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements Performs Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements Communicates results to security management and customers Participates, as requested, in the enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security 5+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI Experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience Experience in reporting requirements within Department of Defense (DoD), Special Access Program (SAP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Experience working with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Experience working with Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) Experience working in processing or supporting Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), and Special Program Access paperwork (i.e. PARs, PSQ, SF86) Experience working with DoD Manual 5205.07, Volumes 1-4 and National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM) Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
